Interim marketing support

Marketing delivery
Sophie worked with the National Institute of Teaching for 12 months, providing interim marketing support for their Student Recruitment Marketing Team. She worked with in-house marketing teams to support across their portfolio of courses including initial teacher training, NPQs and specialist postgraduate courses for teachers. The work included:
Overhauling their enquiry and lead nurture processes. The work involved evaluating their current processes, conducting competitor analysis, creating a new email nurture strategy and an optimised campaign landing page, and implementing automated email workflows in their CRM, Microsoft Dynamics, including writing and building the emails and setting up corresponding web pages and tracking reports.
Supporting the production of prospectuses and printed guides
Filming and editing multiple videos and writing content articles
Interviewing academic staff and students for case studies
“I hired Sophie when I needed external marketing support and she was an incredible asset to both my organisation and to me personally, and I’m incredibly grateful to her.
I found Sophie’s calm, capable energy really reassuring. She took an evolving brief and was able to instantly propose quick-win interventions that made a difference to our marketing pipeline, and she added a huge amount of value to our small team.
Longer-term, her expertise in email marketing and nurture comms accelerated recruitment, giving structure and clarity to our content. She identified gaps, helped fill them and then gave the content room to breathe.
Finally, she is a rare example of a contractor - someone who can hit a huge range of notes. She can do the thinking and the doing, is easy to brief and gets on with the job. She’s great to have around and an asset to any team.”
